Topmast Heat Lamp Fixture – Heat Lamp Holder

The Topmast fixture is a high-quality fixture for mounting a heat lamp for use in the whelping box; the fixture serves to keep (the nests of) the mother dog warm. Heat lamps are indispensable for raising your puppies, but always make sure there is sufficient bottom heat in the whelping box – you can use a vetbed for this , these are easy to clean and retain the heat of your puppies well. Tip: Do not hang the heat lamp too low, as this can cause the puppies to dry out. In a normal living room, a 150 Watt heat lamp is most recommended.

Advantages:

This fixture is equipped with a halving switch, which halves the wattage of your heat lamp. This allows you to reduce the wattage without using a separate dimmer. You will receive the aluminum fixture including fitting, cord, protective cap and hanging chain.
