Topmast Doghouse Select

This animal house is made in a traditional way from pine wood. Pine wood is a particularly beautiful type of coniferous wood that has been valued in our animal pen range for a long time. The wood grain, flame pattern and changing color shades in particular give the animal enclosure a solid and warm appearance.

Properties of pine wood:

The wood used for your animal house is a unique natural product that has been processed according to traditional methods in the country of origin, after careful selection. It is characteristic and unique in every way. This wood product has also undergone manual processing. No single piece of wood is the same in shape, texture or color, so color shades are unavoidable even within one piece of wood. Wind cracks, hairline cracks, unevenness and the presence of large and small knots testify to their origin and years of growth. Irregularities are usually touched up manually with wood filling. New animal enclosures will acquire a warmer color over time through use and the influence of light. Color differences between themselves and compared to the show model are therefore obvious.

Assembly instructions:

• The loft comes with a simple construction drawing
• You will also receive a package of screws for mounting the panels
• Most of the holes in the panels have already been pre-drilled for you
• If it is not in a sheltered place, we advise you to anchor the loft
• The panels of the loft are delivered partially assembled

Maintenance instructions:

• You must stain the loft to prevent mold or wood rot
• It is advisable to clean the wood periodically to prevent mold and green deposits
• Can be stained in any color you want
• Periodically treat the hinges and locks with silicone spray
• Use some wax or Vaseline for the moving parts such as drawers and sliding panels
• If possible, place the loft in a sheltered place
